For Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, 2021 was a great season.
The young quarterback came back from an injury to take his team to Super Bowl 56.
His late-quarter heroics in the AFC championship gave the Bengals their first Super Bowl appearance since the 80s.
The second-year quarterback did something with the Bengals no one thought he could.
While people wrote him off, he took his team to the Super Bowl
However, he’s familiar with championship games and being written off.
Joe Burrow Is A Championship Breed Quarterback
Making it to the biggest game in football is something Burrow is familiar with.
The former LSU quarterback won a national championship with them in 2020.
So making it to the big game is something he’s familiar with.
His National Championship season with LSU also won him the Heisman Trophy.

Few college players get the honor of winning that trophy and a National Championship.
But Burrow did because he has a championship breed about him.
However, not everyone believed he was championship material.
He Is Used To Being Written Off
The Heisman champion quarterback started his career at Ohio State
However, they never saw him as their starting quarterback.
Ohio State wrote him off, forcing the quarterback to make a change.
He then transferred to LSU, taking them to a National Championship.
So even in his college years, Burrow had doubters that didn’t believe in him.
However, he now has people making a comparison between him and another quarterback.
Burrow Is The Next Tom Brady In Some NFL Fans Eyes
One quarterback knows all about being written off by NFL teams and pundits.
That quarterback is Tom Brady.
People saw him as too slow, small, and without arm strength.
However, Brady showed every person he was better than what they saw in him.
23 years and seven Super Bowl championships later, Brady is still out playing in the NFL.
With Burrow’s drive to win no matter what, it’s led some to say he’s the next Brady.

Those NFL fans believe he can not only prove people wrong, but win championships like Brady.
With the talent Burrow has in Cincinnati, there’s a reason people make this comparison.
However, was his Super Bowl 56 appearance a fluke, or is Burrow here to stay as a Super Bowl contender?
Bengals Give Burrow The Best Offensive Weapons For Success
The biggest weapon for Burrow in Cincinnati is Ja’Marr Chase.
Chase is a former wide receiver teammate of his from LSU.
With the two having a connection from college, they brought that to Cincinnati.
Chase was the Offensive Rookie of the Year thanks to Burrow.
He also was within yards of breaking a rookie single-season record for receiving yards.
Besides having his old LSU teammate, he also has running back Joe Mixon.
When Mixon is healthy, he’s a beast on the field.
He’s a top ten running back and gives defenses a fit.
With these two players on offense, Burrow can prove he is the real deal.
He can also continue to show he’s a top NFL player with them around.
