Arizona Cardinals defensive end JJ Watt would like to make up for lost time last season.
He was doing well with his new squad until an injury knocked him out for the latter half of the regular season.
In some ways, his absence started a downward spiral for the Arizona defense.
This year, Watt is looking forward to upholding their prestigious family name, especially now that his brother T.J. replicated his feat as Defensive Player of the Year.
But before training camp or the regular season commences, he couldn’t help but jest about his action figure.
I can’t be the only one that sees a sad Carson Wentz, right? https://t.co/1PfL5GshJB

The three-time Defensive Player of the Year tweeted, “I can’t be the only one that sees a sad Carson Wentz, right?”
He does have a point because the action figure created by Funko looks like the Washington Commanders quarterback.
It could be Wentz’s look after getting sacked by edge rushers like Watt.
Likewise, it’s difficult to see any resemblance with Watt, especially in his facial features.
Cardinals Hope Watt Resembles His Old Self
While Watt couldn’t do anything about how his image and likeness went out, he could help the Cardinals by turning back time.
Getting back the Watt that terrorized the league will help their offense build and retain leads.
The Cardinals defense should compensate for their explosive offense and Watt will be a central figure in achieving that goal.
The cards are stacked against them, especially after losing Chandler Jones to the Las Vegas Raiders.
Still, Watt’s inspiration will help elevate their game and rack up the victories.
