Just because Jimmy Butler plays for the Miami Heat doesn’t mean he’s not interested in other sports too.
In fact, Butler has long been a big fan of tennis.
And, lately, he’s been showing his support often.
Butler is friends with multiple tennis icons such as Coco Gauff, Carlos Alcaraz, and Alexander Zverev.
In a recent social media video, via ClutchPoints, Butler congratulated Zverev on a recent win and confirmed that he will continue traveling across the world to watch tennis.
“Now it’s off to LA. I’m tired and my food’s cold. But I’ll be back at the US Open on Friday. I know y’all miss me cause I’ve been on tennis too often, but I don’t care,” Butler said.

Butler is obviously enjoying his summer break and he’s not going to slow down any time soon.
In the days ahead, fans of tennis should expect to see a lot more of Butler from the stands.
Just the other day, video of Butler and J Balvin congratulating Alcaraz popped up online.
Fans of the Heat are hoping that Butler will soon turn his interest back to basketball in the weeks ahead.
The upcoming season will be a very important one for Miami.
They reached the NBA Finals last season although they fell short of their ultimate goal.
Now there is a lot of attention on the team, especially since they are trying to land Damian Lillard from the Portland Trail Blazers.
That situation isn’t unfolding as the Heat want and it must be frustrating.
So maybe Butler is focusing on tennis even more to keep his mind off of that headache.
But in just a few weeks, he’ll be suiting up for training camp and preparing for the long NBA season ahead.
