Aaron Rodgers will be moving from America’s heartland to its biggest metropolis, as he was finally traded from the Green Bay Packers to the New York Jets on Monday after weeks of speculation and negotiations.
NFL analyst Rich Cimini says that Rodgers will be formally introduced to the New York City area media on Wednesday afternoon.

The Jets surrendered four draft picks, including a first-rounder this year and a conditional second-rounder in 2024 that will become a first-round selection if Rodgers plays in 65 percent of the Jets’ snaps.
However, they will also receive the No. 15 selection this year to help soften the blow.
New York will now join the ranks of the numerous teams in the AFC that are Super Bowl contenders, or at least consider themselves contenders.
That list includes two teams in their own division: the Buffalo Bills and the Miami Dolphins.
The one big advantage the Jets have is their defense, which was fourth in points and total yards allowed last season and boasts Defensive Rookie of the Year Sauce Gardner and star defensive tackle Quinnen Williams, both of whom made both the Pro Bowl and All-Pro first-team.
On the other side of the football, they have the reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year in wide receiver Garrett Wilson and another stud wideout in Allen Lazard, a former teammate of Rodgers.
It may be an uphill climb for the Jets to win their first Super Bowl in over 50 years, but they may have the team to at least have a chance of getting it done.
