Could All-Pro wide receiver Deebo Samuel be on his way to the New York Jets?
Pro Football Focus writer Ari Meirov shared that general manager Joe Douglas will be aggressive in making a move given the right opportunity.
He added that the Jets were ready to trade three draft picks to the Kansas City Chiefs and give Tyreek Hill a massive contract.
Unfortunately, Hill chose the division rival Miami Dolphins.
With Hill gone, Samuel created an opening by demanding a trade from the San Francisco 49ers.
As ESPN NFL Nation reporter Rich Cimini shared, the do-it-all wideout could be the Jets’ next target.
What I’m hearing: Deebo Samuel/Jets ain’t dead yet. This sets up the possibility of the ultimate draft-night drama. Quite possible both teams waiting to see what’s available at 10 before pulling trigger. #Jets

What Could Be San Francisco’s Asking Price?
In an earlier tweet, he did point out that the 49ers could trade Samuel given the right price, even if general manager John Lynch said that he couldn’t imagine trading him.
The right price should include a first-round pick in this year’s draft, and the Jets have two of them.
If a deal pushes through, the Jets might give up the 10th overall pick and additional picks from the next two drafts for Samuel.
San Francisco will then use the pick to draft a wide receiver in the deep 2022 class at the position.
The 49ers will try to convince Samuel to remain with the team.
This trade will make headlines in an unpredictable draft if that doesn’t work.
Meanwhile, acquiring Samuel allows the Jets to address a glaring need after losing Jamison Crowder to the Buffalo Bills.
