If the Aaron Rodgers rumors of potentially moving to the New York Jets didn’t have any merit before, they certainly do now.
This morning, the Jets announced that Nathaniel Hackett would be their new offensive coordinator.
As many are aware, Hackett was the offensive coordinator for the Green Bay Packers before his move to be the head coach of the Denver Broncos.
Hackett and Aaron Rodgers are extremely — extremely — close.
I'd say it's worth connecting dots on this one. https://t.co/zivIt8iz7p

During their shared time with the Packers, it’s no secret that Hackett and Rodgers developed a great relationship.
With the news of Hackett heading to the Jets, many are speculating that this is the perfect storm for Rodgers to make a move.
What could the Jets look like with Rodgers at the helm?
For starters, Rodgers would have significantly upgraded weapons than he has with the Packers.
Garrett Wilson, Elijah Moore, and Breece Hall are three of the Jets’ young stars that might be attractive options for a player of Rodgers’ caliber.
He has contended that his lack of weapons is a major reason that the Packers haven’t been able to succeed in the postseason.
The Jets defense is similar, if not better than the Packers’ as well.
This would give Rodgers a bit of cushion in the Jets’ games, something that he isn’t always afforded on the Packers.
This might be the best potential landing spot for Rodgers, should he and the Packers come to that agreement.
Hackett was just the first domino to fall.
What will come next for the Jets?
Their 2023 season just got a lot more interesting.
