The Milwaukee Brewers have been relatively quiet this offseason.
But the moves that they have made have been impactful.
One such move was a trade with the Seattle Mariners.
In that deal, they acquired outfielder Jesse Winker and third baseman Abraham Toro in exchange for former Gold Glover Kolten Wong.
Winker was acquired by the Mariners last offseason from the Cincinnati Reds and saw his production plummet away from the NL Central.
However, the veteran slugger is back in the NL Central and ready to do some more damage.
His numbers against NL Central teams over the course of his career bode well for a potential bounce-back season.

As you can see, Winker does most of his damage against NL Central teams, and being away from teams such as the St. Louis Cardinals, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Chicago Cubs had a negative impact on the slugger.
Granted, the 29-year-old won’t have as many opportunities to rake against the Central with the 2023 schedule being designed so that each team plays every other team at least once, and his numbers outside of the NL Central aren’t great.
Winker has hit just .226 with a .338 on-base percentage and a .373 slugging percentage.
Against NL Central teams, Winker has a lifetime average of .307 with an on-base percentage of .404 and a slugging percentage of .539.
Winker should benefit from a return to the NL Central, where he’ll face teams like the Cardinals, Cubs, Reds, and Pirates.
These are teams that Winker is familiar with and has done damage against in the past.
