The Denver Broncos felt theater’s comedy and tragedy masks in one day, as wide receiver Jerry Jeudy shared.

— SportsCenter (@SportsCenter) March 8, 2022

The tweet from ESPN’s SportsCenter showed how the former Alabama standout reacted to the quick turn of events on Tuesday.

His updates may be short, but they summarized how the franchise’s fortunes turned from gloomy to vibrant.

It’s no secret that the Broncos were in search of a quarterback because Teddy Bridgewater and Drew Lock haven’t elevated the offense.

After all, they should play better given that they have Javonte Williams in the backfield.

Add the talented wideout trio of Jeudy, Tim Patrick, and Courtland Sutton, and the Broncos are ready for a postseason stint, if only they had a better option under center.

That said, reigning NFL Most Valuable Player Aaron Rodgers considered the Broncos as one of the teams he might play for in 2022.

However, Jeudy’s sad face tweet reflected Rodgers’ decision of returning to the Packers for the foreseeable future.

The Broncos’ Saving Grace

It’s hard to quantify the emotion of a person sharing his thoughts on social media.

Jeudy might have felt extremely sad that Rodgers wouldn’t be his quarterback but the single sad face doesn’t reflect the intensity of his feelings.

However, sorrow turned to joy when a Broncos’ trade for Pro Bowl quarterback Russell Wilson became official.

Aside from Wilson, the team also received the Seattle Seahawks’ fourth-round pick.

Meanwhile, the Seahawks received Lock, tight end Noah Fant, defensive lineman Shelby Harris, two first-round picks, two second-round picks, and a fifth-rounder.

Jeudy could not care less about the picks they lost, as shown in his tweet saying, “Oh we lit.”

The Broncos finally have the quarterback that can unlock their offense’s limitless potential over the next few seasons.
