In the short amount of time since it was revealed that the Utah Jazz are open to the idea of trading Donovan Mitchell, a bunch of possible trades have come to light.
No matter which teams lands him – if any – they will have to put together quite an appealing package for the Jazz.
That’s because the team isn’t giving him away for just anything or anyone, they know how valuable he is.
They would almost certainly have to bring in another team https://t.co/KPiCBRvjul

Even the powerful Miami Heat might not have what it takes to get Mitchell without some help.
As Tony Jones points out, the team would “almost certainly” have to bring in another team in order to construct a trade package that would satisfy Utah.
Mitchell In Miami
Mitchell playing for the Heat would certainly be something special.
He’s already been doing stellar work during his time in Utah and if he brought that to a championship-caliber team like Miami, he could help them reach the finish line.
The fact that the team would need more assets and other teams to help out just shows how much the Jazz value Mitchell.
They rightfully see him as one of the biggest trade assets on the market right now.
If they’re going to give him up, they need a great return on the trade.
Right now, we aren’t sure what the Jazz are thinking: are they willing to enter a rebuilding phase with tons of draft picks or do they want an All-Star player in place of Mitchell?
Whichever path they take, they’re going to empty a team’s pockets for Mitchell.
There is no guarantee that a trade for Mitchell will even happen.
The Jazz could sit by and never lift a finger if they don’t like the offers coming their way.
