On Monday, Miami Marlins star Jazz Chisholm Jr. was named the cover athlete for the upcoming video game MLB The Show 23.
The game will be released on Tuesday, March 28 and will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, XBOX, and Nintendo Switch.
Pre-ordering begins on Monday, February 6.
Naturally, it’s been an exciting week for the Marlins star.
But that doesn’t mean that the fun is over for Chisholm.
In fact, it’s just getting started.
Today, the young star is turning 25 years old.
On Twitter, MLB Europe wished the rising star a happy birthday, showing a collage of some cool photos of him showing off his abilities.

It’s been a fun week for Chisholm.
Being named the cover athlete for The Show is an honor in and of itself, and is almost like an early birthday gift.
But today, he gets to celebrate the actual day, not long after he got the news that he would be featured on the cover of the next MLB video game.
It’s hard to draw it up any better than this for Chisholm.
On top of that, he is one of the most exciting young players in all of baseball and is ready to help the Marlins take the next step as they look to improve in 2023.
The 25-year-old was an All-Star in 2022 after hitting 14 home runs and stealing 12 bases in the first half of the season.
Unfortunately, he missed a good chunk of the second half due to injuries, but he’s back and ready to go in 2023 as the Marlins prepare to take steps towards relevance.
