For years, the Phillie Phanatic has been the best and most famous mascot in MLB.
Its funky dances and funny moments with fans are just so good that it’s worth seeing them over and over again.
But Miami Marlins star Jazz Chisholm Jr. has some flair and style, too, and might have a thing or two to teach the Phanatic.
In one of the funniest interactions you will see this year, Chisholm tried to teach the euro step to the Phanatic.
When he homers, Chisholm celebrates doing the euro step, a popular basketball move popularized, among others, by Manu Ginobili back in the day.
However, let’s just say the Phanatic is not quite the gracious athlete Chisholm is.
This is too good 🤣

He tried to do it, but couldn’t quite master it.
In the end, player and mascot shook hands and parted ways in another cool moment in MLB.
The Phanatic Is Happy For Its Phillies; While Chisholm Develops Into A Star
While the Phanatic is happy because the Philadelphia Phillies finally reached .500 (31-31) and have won eight of their last ten games, Chisholm is enjoying a breakout season with the Marlins.
In 50 games and 203 plate appearances, the infielder is slashing .251/.307/.546 with 14 home runs, 41 RBI, and 10 stolen bases.
He has been outstanding, but sadly, the Marlins aren’t looking like contenders at the moment.
They are, before Wednesday’s games, 28-32, in fourth place in the NL East.
They look at least a year away from truly competing with the best, but Chisholm is taking the next step in his development and making sure Miami has an important franchise cornerstone to build around.
He is one of the most important players in the franchise.
