The Boston Celtics have shown no signs of an NBA Finals hangover to start the year.
They have started the year 3-1 and Jayson Tatum has been a big reason for their early season success.
After being named first-team All-NBA last season, Tatum looks to take his game to the perennial MVP level.
Through four games this season, Tatum is averaging 32.5 points per game.
He is also shooting the ball well with a 55% field goal percentage.
Jayson Tatum is averaging 35 PPG to start the season and 15 already tonight👀👀

A Fun MVP Race
Tatum has made three consecutive All-Star teams and is poised to make that four All-Star teams in six years this season.
After an underwhelming showing in the NBA Finals, it is no surprise to see Tatum playing well early in the season.
Most league MVPs are on top teams.
Boston is expected to be one of the best teams in the East, helping Tatum’s chances.
The problem for Tatum is that the NBA is full of MVP-caliber players.
The usual names will all be in contention for MVP.
But, the breakout stars like Morant, Tatum, Booker, etc. could also make a run for the award.
There are probably 10-15 players who could legitimately win the award this season.
It will be a great race to watch all year.
After Nikola Jokic has won the MVP the past two seasons, it is clear there will be a new winner this year.
The voters rarely pick the same player to win the MVP three years in a row no matter how they play.
The NBA is due for a new MVP this season.
With Tatum on the short-list of players that could win it.
