Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics is averaging 30.1 points, 9 rebounds, and 3.7 assists a game right now.
Those are the best numbers of his career.
But that doesn’t mean that he doesn’t have some bad nights, including several in a row.
While he is still an excellent player, he has lost his touch from the three-point line over the last few games.
Legion Hoops shared that Tatum shot 35.7% from downtown against the Atlanta Hawks, followed by just 20% from three against the Houston Rockets.
Both of those nights were much better than his Wednesday night game against the Minnesota Timberwolves when he went 0-from-8 from the three-point line.

It is important to note that just because Tatum has grown cold from that part of the floor doesn’t mean his team is lacking.
In fact, they won the games against the Hawks and the Timberwolves.
And Tatum remained a vital part of those victories, scoring 34 against Atlanta and 22 against Minnesota.
This shows that he’s not just a one-trick pony and can still have a huge impact on the game even if he isn’t shooting well from the three.
Additionally, the fact that Tatum can be going through a tough time with his three-point shot and the Celtics can still win proves that the team is deep, capable, and has multiple ways to win.
Their fate does not rest solely on his three-point shooting.
The team is currently 2.5 games behind the first-place Milwaukee Bucks in the East.
There is a chance that they could claim the top spot again, especially if Tatum starts shooting better.
