One of the most significant advantages to having homecourt advantage during the NBA playoffs is if the series goes the full seven games, the last game will be played on your home floor like it was for the Boston Celtics against the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday.
Every fanbase in the NBA is not like the other, with some teams having never won a championship and others winning multiple, if not 17, like the Celtics.
Only the Los Angeles Lakers can compete with the Celtics regarding the championships won during their franchise history, as both teams are tied for the most in NBA history with 17.
With so much success comes an avid fanbase, and that’s exactly what the Celtics had on Sunday when they needed to rally to beat the 76ers at TD Garden in Boston.
After coming out on top against the 76ers, Jaylen Brown talked to the media and explained just how much the crowd played into the game’s outcome via Celtics on NBA Sports Boston.

With the Celtics advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals, Boston will be sporting homecourt advantage once again, as they’ll take on the No. 8 seed Miami Heat in the next round for a chance to advance to the NBA Finals for a second straight season.
Although the Celtics are favored to come out in the series and even come out on top in the NBA Finals, regardless of their opponent, it will be a grind, to say the least, against a tough and scrappy Miami team who has defied the odds every step of the way during these NBA playoffs.
