The Boston Celtics have something not many NBA teams have been able to have: Two young superstars in the making.
Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum have put the team on their shoulders with their outstanding play on both ends of the floor, looking like one of the league’s most dominant duos.
Nonetheless, Brown believes they’re still far from their peak, as he knows both still have plenty of room for improvement:
“Every year is different; no year has been the same,” Brown started, as shared in the tweet below. “I don’t think this is the best you will see. But so far, I think this is the best individually we both have come out and played and led our team this season. But I definitely think we got other limits to reach in the future, in our career. This is just a part of the process. Right now, we’re still trying to learn and figure things out. So, I’m interested to see how he continues to grow, and I continue to grow over the years and things like that. But right now, we gotta focus on what’s in front of us, and that’s to take care of business and try to get back to the Finals.”

Ironically, some fans and analysts urged the Celtics to break them up and trade one of them just last season.
They wound up making the NBA Finals, and are now the reason why the Celtics continue to be the team to beat in the Eastern Conference.
Player development isn’t lineal, and the sky seems to be the limit for this duo right now.
