The Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles just made NFL history.
More specifically, the Kelce brothers, Jason and Travis, made NFL history.
They became the first pair of brothers to square off in the Super Bowl, shortly after both of them had already won a ring of their own.
Notably, that meant that one of them was going back home empty-handed, but it seemed like none of that even mattered at that point.
At least, that’s how Jason felt after losing the big game to his older brother.
In the latest edition of their podcast, the Kelce brothers opened up on their feelings after the game, with Jason getting emotional and crying after talking about watching their mom hugging them on the field.
“The moment I saw mom is when I got really emotional because, man, it was so awesome,” Jason said with tears on his face. “It was awesome that she was on top of the world for a week.”
Travis also shed a couple of tears and raved about how great her mom was and how great of a moment they got to experience.
“She was the heavyweight champ, man,” Travis added. “She was on top of it and she shined the whole time, man. That was the coolest part. Mom, you killed it. Dad, you’ve been killing it.”
“It was just so cool, man, to see her get to celebrate in that with us,” Jason replied. “It was an awesome moment. Just so happy for her and so happy that she got her moment, dad got his. so, yeah, I was — ironically, you lose the Super Bowl and you’re crying after the game and they’re not tears of sadness, they’re tears of joy.”

That’s the ultimate privilege if you ask me.
Jason Kelce has done enough merits to be considered one of the greatest — if not the greatest — Centers of all time, and the same can be said of Travis at the Tight End position.
To watch both of their sons not only make it to the league but also become marquee names of the sport and then square off in the biggest game in football must’ve been the most special feeling any parent could ever dream of.
This is truly what sports are all about, and props to the Kelces for living the dream.
