Jarvis Landry still has no NFL team after the 2022 draft.

His injury-riddled 2021 season may have affected his stock.

Likewise, numbers dictate that his game is on decline over the last three seasons.

But he might have hinted where he wants to play after this tweet

My guy @Mathieu_Era ✊🏾✊🏾

— Jarvis Juice Landry (@God_Son80) May 2, 2022

Landry congratulated Tyrann Mathieu on signing with the New Orleans Saints.

The terms of the deal are still unknown, but the former LSU standout gets to play for his hometown team.

The All-Pro safety also bolsters the Saints’ secondary which already has Marshon Lattimore, Marcus Maye, Daniel Sorensen, and C.J. Gardner-Johnson.

But is Landry’s tweet an indication that he wants to suit up for New Orleans?

It could be a plain tweet wherein Landry is happy for Mathieu.

However, adding “my guy” might be a subtle pitch that he wants to join “Honey Badger” in The Big Easy.

Adding Landry Makes The Saints An NFC Contender

New Orleans upgraded their receiving corps by trading up to select Ohio State’s Chris Olave.

The former Buckeye was the third wideout selected after Drake London and Garrett Wilson.

He’s a nice complement to Michael Thomas who did not play last season due to injury.

The 2019 Offensive Player of the Year is raring to bounce back and make up for lost time with the Saints.

Throwing Landry in this mix makes New Orleans a potent team on both sides of the ball.

Alvin Kamara can also receive balls from Jameis Winston who has a cannon arm for deep throws.

However, adding Landry means that they must release one or two wide receivers.

Having 11 wideouts on the depth chart makes letting go of players a non-issue.
