There is no doubt that James Harden of the Philadelphia 76ers is a very talented and capable athlete.
Obviously, that’s true because he is a three-time scoring champion, a ten-time All-Star, and was the league’s MVP back in 2018.
Still, even with all of those accolades and obvious skills, there are many people who comment on Harden’s physical ability and his weight.
Yes, Harden’s waistline has been the point of speculation and gossip again and again throughout his career and now he’s talking about it.

Speaking to the press during the 76ers’ media day, Harden made a joke about how he slimmed down in the summer, saying he has lost “100 pounds.”
Harden is obviously playing around but he does look a lot better than usual and that has many people thinking the new season for Philly might be their best yet.
A Healthy Harden
There have been times when Harden has appeared a little chunky and has moved a bit slower too.
But recently he has appeared to be in shape and toned.
This all comes alongside news that Harden has turned a new leaf and has become more devoted to his team and driven to help it find success.
Harden says he’s been in the gym during the offseason and will be in peak physical and mental shape when 2022-23 begins.
This is great news for Philly fans because one of the biggest complaints against Harden over the years has been his seeming lack of drive at times.
People have commented about Harden gassing out during the end of the regular season and definitely during the postseason.
But if he really is more fit than usual, that won’t be the case in the new year.
