The NBA has always been a league of player mobility.
Some of the top players in the game have no problem asking out of one situation and into another.
Also, we see stars leave in free agency all the time.
There is one player who looks like he might hit free agency this offseason.
That is Philadelphia 76ers guard, James Harden.
One place he is interested in going back to is Houston.
James Harden is "serious" about the possibility of returning to Houston in free agency this summer, per @sam_amick and @KellyIko pic.twitter.com/jm6w17PdDV

From a basketball perspective, this move would not make any sense.
The Rockets are one of the worst teams in the NBA, and they need more than Harden to be able to compete.
Also, Harden is not the player he once was with Houston.
He is much older now and is not the elite scorer we remember.
If Harden was serious about wanting to win, this would be a decision he would not consider.
Leaving the 76ers and Joel Embiid for the young players in Houston is not a basketball move.
But, Harden must have loved living in Houston.
That would be the only reason he would consider signing with them.
It will be interesting to see if the Sixers’ playoff run has any effect on Harden.
If they make the NBA finals or win the championship, you would think he would come back.
But, if not, Harden might see starting over with a young team as his best option.
Either way, there will be plenty of intrigue around Harden this offseason.
