Winston tore his ACL last October 31 when he played against his former team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Before his injury, the Saints were on a nice run and were pushing the Buccaneers for the NFC South title.
Unfortunately, things quickly went south for head coach Sean Payton and the Saints when Winston wasn’t available for action.
The team ultimately missed the playoffs which could not have been the case if he was still playing.
But with Winston’s contract with New Orleans ending, recovering from that injury will be his primary concern.
ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter shared a video of him on the anti-gravity treadmill while occasionally waving to the camera.
Sports trainer Kevin Wilk took the video, which Schefter tweeted.

Winston will attract much attention in the free-agent market once his path to recovery is complete.
He did enough last season to convince front offices that he’s worth trying under center despite the shaky start in his career.

The video that Wilk shared is just one of the several clips that reveal his current health status.
There’s a tweet from Pro Football Focus showing him going through quarterback motions from the snap, including scrambling from left to right.
There’s also this video wherein he’s going through the agility ladder while catching a training ball.
Here’s Winston participating in a brief walkathon to test his ankles.
Finally, here’s the quarterback going through some throwing motions on the field, as shared by his agency, the Just Win Management Group.
These videos are meant to prove that Winston will be ready to play for the 2022 season in New Orleans or elsewhere.
