The New Orleans Saints were doing well with Jameis Winston as their starting quarterback.
By Week 8 of the 2021 NFL season, the team had a 5-2 record, putting them in contention for a playoff spot.
As a sign of his maturity, he wasn’t throwing for a ton of yards like he once was.
He was orchestrating their offense well, especially when it was time to call Alvin Kamara‘s number.
Unfortunately, a horse-collar tackle from Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Devin White induced a season-ending knee injury on Winston.
Trevor Siemian and Taysom Hill took over before the Saints ended their season at the fringe of the playoffs with a 9-8 mark.
Undoubtedly, the Saints would love to have Winston back sooner than later, especially after this workout video session shared by Pro Football Focus.

In that video, Winston is inside the gym while simulating typical quarterback movements after the snap.
He looked good while dropping back and moving from side to side as if he was running a play-action pass or evading a blitz.
He constantly moved from left to right and vice versa to show that the injury isn’t bothering him anymore.
Where Will Winston Play?
This 20-second video from the Just Win Management Group might be an audition for teams who are still seeking a quarterback.
The Saints would love to sign him again, but they must deal with their cap issues first before having him back.
The Denver Broncos might be seeking a quarterback after finding out that Drew Lock and Teddy Bridgewater are not the answers.
Winston may also land in Pittsburgh to form a decent offensive unit with Najee Harris, Diontae Johnson, and Chase Claypool.
There’s no question that he will attract interest after seeing that he’s moving well.
Therefore, let the bidding war for Winston begin.
