Some analysts are worried about the Cincinnati Bengals.
They’re built around multiple rookie deals, with Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase as their two most prominent pieces.
It’s safe to say that Burrow has done more than enough to prove that he’s a franchise-caliber quarterback.
And as such, he’s likely to get a massive raise in his next contract, which could set the new standard for the QB market around the league.
That might put the Bengals in a tough spot in the future, as they’d have to give up some of their pieces to make room for Burrow’s impending raise.
However, Chase isn’t too worried about that, as he thinks Burrow will figure things out and structure his contract in a way that allows the Bengals to keep surrounding him with top-notch talents:
“Joe knows what he wants and how to set up his contract to keep some of his weapons around him,” his teammate said.

The former first-overall pick is an elite QB already, leading the Bengals to the Super Bowl and the AFC Championship Game in his first two full seasons as a starter.
His ability to read opposing defenses before the snap and make adjustments at the line of scrimmage is only topped by his accuracy.
Burrow has helped the Bengals become a legit contender out of the AFC North, and they must do whatever they need to build around him and keep him happy for the next decade or so.
But he also seems to be the kind of guy who’d rather take a slight pay cut if that means having better weapons around him, so it’ll be interesting to see how this situation unfolds.
