For years, Mike Breen has been one of the most iconic voices in the NBA.
Getting your own “BANG!” after a three-pointer is an honor that not many players can brag about, as it means they rose up to the moment and knocked down a huge shot when their team needed it the most.
That’s why Denver Nuggets star Jamal Murray wanted to make sure to get his “Bang”, so he decided to pay tribute to Breen by calling it himself and then pointing at him in Game 2.

And it was, indeed, a huge bang.
Murray caught fire late in the game with a 23-point fourth quarter, helping his team break out of a bit of an offensive slump to come back and secure a win in Game 2.
He’s established himself as one of the best playoff performers in the league, and the Nuggets are playing like a championship team on both ends of the floor.
The league might not be thrilled to have the Nuggets over the Lakers in the NBA Finals, but there’s not much you can do against a team playing so well.
They’ve been the most consistent force in the Western Conference throughout the playoffs, and it’s not even close.
Murray has made a living out of knocking down big shots down the stretch, and the Nuggets are just two wins away from their very first appearance in the NBA Finals, where he might get Breen to call a “Bang” or two if he plays his cards right.
