To say that the 2022 Los Angeles Rams were a massive disappointment would be a monumental understatement.
The reigning champions were never able to replicate last year’s success, either because of injuries, tough luck, or questionable coaching decisions.
Matthew Stafford‘s health took a massive toll on their chances to compete at the highest level, but it’s not like the defense did anything to do the offense any favors, either.
Now, to make things even worse, it seems like they could also lose one of their best players, as Jalen Ramsey posted a cryptic tweet that raised plenty of eyebrows around social media:
“It is what it is! It was what it was! If that’s the end, I went out wit [sic] a BANG! Still THAT!” Ramsey tweeted.

Ramsey’s deal runs through the 2027 season, although he could opt out in 2024.
He signed a very lucrative deal worth $100 million over five years, but we’ve seen multiple superstars call it a career way sooner than expected and just retire without any hesitation.
The 28-year-old had a down season by his standards, just like the rest of the team, but he’s still one of the prime cornerbacks in the National Football League.
Of course, there’s also the possibility that he’s hinting at a potential trade.
The Rams moved most of their picks, so it would make sense for them to try and recoup some of them by trading some of their stars.
Whatever the case, it was a great run by Ramsey, and he should always have a spot in the hearts of Rams fans.
