Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts had a game to remember in Week 2 of the 2022 NFL season against the Minnesota Vikings.
The former Oklahoma and Alabama standout became the first NFL player to complete 80 percent of his passes, throw for 300 yards, and score multiple rushing touchdowns.
More importantly, the Eagles went to 2-0 after defeating the Vikings, 24-7.
Hurts finished the game by completing 26 passes out of 31 attempts for an 83.9 percent completion mark.
He also had 333 passing yards, 57 rushing yards, and two rushing touchdowns.
Those numbers gave him the same single-game stats with an Eagles legend.

B/R Gridiron shared that Hurts’ performance makes him the second quarterback in Eagles history to have 300 passing yards and multiple rushing touchdowns in a single game.
The first one was Michael Vick, who had identical numbers with Hurts.
Vick and the Eagles completed a road victory over the then-Washington Redskins in that game, 59-28.
It was also the year when Vick won Comeback Player of the Year honors after spending 21 months in federal prison due to his involvement in a dog fighting ring.
Both of these historic games by Hurts and Vick were played on Monday Night Football.
Hurts Was On Target
He only completed 56.3 percent of his passes in Week 1 which they won over the Detroit Lions.
Therefore, the Eagles will welcome his high completion rate, and it’s a sign that he can lead the team in both ways.
While his mobility is already established, his passing accuracy was still suspect.
This performance against the Vikings shows that he can inflict damage from the pocket when needed.
The Eagles have a chance to go 3-0 when they face the Washington Commanders, the same team Vick defeated 12 years ago.
