The Philadelphia Eagles are the best team in football this season.
They are currently 11-1 and many are saying that they will represent the NFC in this year’s Super Bowl.
Their successful team is led by an equally successful quarterback in Jalen Hurts
After his performance in the Eagles’ 35-10 victory over the Tennessee Titans last week, where Hurts threw for 380 yards and scored four touchdowns, he was awarded as the week NFC Offensive Player of the Week.
But, instead of celebrating his success, Hurts is staying focused on the next game
“I’m emotionless right now.
Focus on what’s in front of me”“Stay true to the grind. Stay true to the hustle. Stay true to you. Stay true to the football team”

Hurts Is Focused
In an interview Hurts said that is “cool” to be given the award, but also described himself as “emotionless” and “focused.”
Hurts’ somewhat cold response to a fairly joyful situation shows us what kind of quarterback he is.
He is incredibly focused on playing football to the best of his ability because he knows that if he loses this focus, he could make more mistakes.
Mistakes lose the game, and if there is one division where a lost game could ruin a season, it is the NFC East.
The NFC East Situation
The NFC East is incredibly tight this year.
While the Eagles are currently in the lead, the Dallas Cowboys are slowly gaining on them, with the New York Giants and Washington Commanders a bit further out, but still within distance.
Every divisional matchup has extra meaning this year due to the tightness of the division.
This weekend, the Eagles face the unpredictable Giants, who would love to get a win against their rivals.
Hurts is staying completely focused on football to make sure that does not happen.
