In a matter of just months, Jalen Brunson has become one of the most popular and beloved figures on the New York Knicks.
He was already acquiring a lot of fans when playing for the Dallas Mavericks but now he is repeatedly heralded as a hero and champion-in-the-making under the bright lights of Madison Square Garden.

Part of it is because he is putting on a show each and every time he takes to the court.
Brunson’s masterful footwork is just one of the many things that have fans on their feet in New York.
He moves quickly and expertly and can put his opponents on skates multiple times a night.
It’s not just that he’s averaging 23.9 points a game, it’s also that he’s playing some amazingly fun and exciting basketball.
It is easy to root for Brunson when he creates such performances.
He has won over the entire Knicks fanbase but they weren’t always so enthusiastic about the guard.
During the summer, some weren’t sure how Brunson would work in New York and they were wondering if he had the experience and skill to be a starting point guard leading the Knicks.
Right off the bat, Brunson proved that those people had nothing to worry about.
The Knicks have had their fair share of struggles but Brunson has not been one of them.
In fact, he’s been a wonderful addition that has helped them rebound after a rough previous season.
They are now the sixth team in the East and definitely part of the playoff conversation.
