Jahmil French, the actor best known for his portrayal of Dave Turner on “Degrassi: The Next Generation” died on March 1, 2021 in Canada.
Born on July 29, 1992 in Toronto, Hill was 29 years old.
A cause of death has not been announced.

French’s agent Gabrielle Kachman confirmed his death.
“It is with a heavy heart that I confirm the passing of a dear friend and client Jahmil French. He will be remembered by many for his passion for the arts, his commitment to his craft, and his vibrant personality. I ask that you keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.”

French’s “Degrassi” co-star Annie Clark who was Fiona Coyne from 2009-2013 shared a video of him dancing with her tribute.
