Things were going so well for the Minnesota Timberwolves for a large part of Thursday’s Game 2 against the Memphis Grizzlies.
At one point, the T-Wolves were up by 26 points and looked well on their way to taking a 2-1 lead in the series.
But then things fell apart in a huge way and Minnesota eventually lost to the Grizzlies, 104-95.
It was a major collapse for the team, one of the biggest in NBA playoffs history.
And Grizzlies star Ja Morant was there to troll them about it.

Following the game, Morant re-tweeted a video of Karl-Anthony Towns and his Timberwolves confident about a win since they were “in Minnesota now.”
Morant humorously mimicked Towns with the simple comment: “We in Minnesota now.”
Sure enough, the Grizzlies were in Minnesota in a big, big way – and it might be impossible for the Timberwolves to come back.
Taking Down The T-Wolves
The Grizzlies had a rough start for the game on Thursday night.
They were even down 12-0 from the opening tip of the game and weren’t able to get anything to land.
As Desmond Bane told ESPN, “We lost our juice. We were kind of flailing.”
Well, they apparently found their juice because the team got it together in a major way and erased the 26-point deficit in only minutes.
Their comeback tied the third-largest playoff comeback in the play-by-play era.
Perhaps their most impressive feat was the way they shut down Towns, who walked away from the night with only 8 points.
Not only was their offense in fine form but their defense was able to limit the most powerful factors on the Timberwolves’ roster.
If Minnesota can’t figure out how to combat against Memphis, this series is all but over.
