Reading headlines about the NBA lately has felt more like browsing through a tabloid magazine.
It all started when the Boston Celtics suspended head coach Ime Udoka for an entire season and the controversy that followed that.
But things got heated again a couple of days ago when the Golden State Warriors fell into their own scandal.
Draymond Green and Jordan Poole had a physical altercation during a practice game and the internet was abuzz talking about it.
Then on Friday morning, a video of the fight leaked to the web, and the entire situation got even messier.
Ja Morant of the Memphis Grizzlies hopped online to give his two cents about the argument on the court and he summed things up perfectly.

He posted a simple pair of eye emojis and nothing else.
But, really, what else is needed to be said?
Morant’s reaction is similar to how many others are feeling: this is a trainwreck that is only getting worse and is increasingly hard to look away from.
The Damage Done By Draymond
The video of Green punching Poole is not good, there is no denying that.
It makes the two players look more like sworn enemies than teammates intent on winning another championship together.
And the intensity of the hit from Green is shocking, it looks like he really wanted to take Poole’s head off.
Both of these men will probably be able to push through this and bury the hatchet but this is creating a PR mess for Green and the team.
It also raises the question: will the team’s chemistry really be the same?
The Warriors have long championed their culture and chemistry and some are worried that the fight between Green and Poole might have just poked a huge hole in all of that.
