Ja Morant of the Memphis Grizzlies had a record-breaking night on Monday, creating 52 points and leading his team to a terrific victory over the San Antonio Spurs.
Morant was MVP-caliber on Monday night and once again proved to the rest of the league and all of the world how special he is.
He also helped the Grizz make NBA history.
All 30 NBA franchises now have had a 50-point scorer.

After Monday night, all 30 NBA teams now have a 50-point scorer.
Morant just helped his team keep pace with the rest of the league and he also cemented his place as the most valuable person on his team – and possibly in the entire NBA.
What’s Next For Morant?
Morant is definitely having a blockbuster season – his best yet – and is in serious contention for this year’s MVP trophy.
But all of that matters less to Morant than leading his team to the Finals.
Do the Grizzlies actually have a chance of going all the way this year?
A few months ago, people would have balked at the idea of the Grizzlies coming out on top in the West and making it to the Finals.
But the way that Morant and his cohorts have been playing, that doesn’t seem too unbelievable anymore.
The path to the Finals won’t be easy, especially with the Phoenix Suns and the Golden State Warriors locked in and trying their hardest to take another shot at the biggest series of the year.
But if any team in the West can take down those two, it’s the Grizzlies.
That’s because they play a lot like the Suns and Warriors and can actually go toe-to-toe with them.
Beating both the Suns and Warriors would be their biggest accomplishment yet.
But Morant has been full of major accomplishments this year.
