The first game of the WNBA Finals was on Sunday night and there were some major stars in attendance, including Ja Morant of the Memphis Grizzlies.
Moran was sitting courtside as the Las Vegas Aces took on the Connecticut Sun in a barn-burner of a game.
In the end, the Aces snuck past the Sun in a 67-64 win, which surely made Morant happy.

This isn’t the first time that Morant has shown his support for the WNBA and its players and it surely won’t be the last.
The man lives and breathes basketball in all its forms and just loves the game.
It makes sense that someone who cherishes basketball so much is so great at playing.
Morant In Memphis
Morant and his Grizzlies were one of the most talked-about teams in the NBA last season.
The crew ended up claiming the second seed in the West and although they didn’t make it as far as they wanted in the playoffs, they still made a sizable impact on the rest of the league and its fans.
Morant was a major part of his squad’s success.
He averaged 27.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 6.7 assists a game.
The former Most Improved Player of the Year was also named an All-Star for the first time in his short career.
He finally reached superstar status in the 2021-22 season and is showing no signs of slowing down.
The Grizzlies will come storming into the new season next month, intent on building upon their success and showing that last year wasn’t a fluke.
While Morant has spent the summer enjoying himself, including at WNBA games, he has obviously had his eyes firmly set on what’s ahead for him and his team.
