Two of the youngest, most exhilarating teams in the NBA are now lined up to battle it out: the Memphis Grizzlies and the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Timberwolves secured the seventh seed in the West on Tuesday night when they defeated the Los Angeles Clippers in the play-in game.
It was a wild match full of nail-biting plays and heroic moments from the teams.
And one person was definitely watching: Ja Morant of the Grizzlies.

Following the game, Morant took to Twitter to comment on the great 30-point performance from Timberwolves superstar Anthony Edwards.
“my dawg,” Edwards said. “Commercial really lit now.”
Morant is referencing an Uber Eats commercial from earlier in the year that featured a dunk contest between Morant and Edwards.
It’s now time for these two players – who many consider the future of the league – to face-off finally.
Round One Madness
It’s only the first round of the NBA playoffs but the Grizzlies versus Timberwolves may be some of the best basketball we see all year.
The Grizzlies have been on fire all season long, rising to the second seed and creating electric, must-see games that have caught the eye of pretty much every NBA fan.
Morant has been in the lead for the Grizz, averaging 27.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 6.7 assists.
His name has been tossed around as a possible MVP winner because of the explosive season he’s had.
Meanwhile, the Timberwolves have become a brand new team seemingly overnight.
Last season, the team’s record was 23-49.
This year, it’s 46-36.
Edwards, the former number one pick in the draft, has been a vital part of the squad with his 21.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.8 assists.
Morant versus Edwards could be a competition for the ages.
