When somebody says that bat flips are awesome, they speak for everybody around baseball.
Bat flips just provide a great feeling around the game of baseball, a spark that fans have been looking for.
They just show that the game is fun and that the players on the field are having a great time doing what they love to do.
Rarely are you going to encounter a bad bat flip.
Seattle Mariners star J.P. Crawford had himself a nice little bat flip on Thursday night when he hit a home run during their game against the Texas Rangers.
A three-run blast in the bottom of the first inning prompted a most familiar and welcomed sight.

Less Hate, More Bat Flips
Who doesn’t love bat flips?
People who like to go on about “unwritten rules?”
Maybe.
But bat flips are just fun to watch.
Seeing players like Crawford do them makes us fans wish we could play the game at that level and do our own bat flips.
Entertainment is entertainment.
People have been doing bat flips since the 1980s.
It’s just part of the game and without it, the game would be a little less exciting.
Bat flips are needed to keep some energy around the game.
But Crawford’s bat flip is one for the ages.
He just looked straight towards the dugout and flipped the bat.
It was beautiful and majestic and made everybody watching smile just a bit.
To flip it with that amount of force and to have it spin in the air multiple times is pretty impressive.
It’s just further evidence as to why we need bat flips in our everyday lives as fans of the sport.
