Running back J.K. Dobbins has been an asset for the Baltimore Ravens after finishing with 805 yards and nine touchdowns during his rookie season.
That said, he was poised to have a breakout season in 2021 as part of the team’s loaded backfield.
Unfortunately, his campaign ended before it even started after suffering a torn ACL in the preseason against the then-Washington Football Team.
His return will boost the Ravens’ offense, especially after losing wide receiver Marquise Brown.
But before taking the field again, he clarified a wrong claim by NFL Network national insider Ian Rapoport.
Rapoport claimed that while Dobbins’ rehabilitation is going well, he might not be ready for Week 1 of the 2022 season.
The former Ohio State standout felt the need to say something to correct Rapoport.
Okay I’m tired of being quiet… come to me for your source @RapSheet because I might not even go on PUP because that’s how good my rehab is going and I’m damn sure going to be ready for week 1. https://t.co/gH2TqCFLM4

Dobbins tweeted, “Okay I’m tired of being quiet… come to me for your source @RapSheet because I might not even go on PUP because that’s how good my rehab is going and I’m damn sure going to be ready for week 1.”
If that’s the case, Ravens fans should get excited about Dobbins’ return.
He and Edwards can re-establish their partnership which gave Baltimore one of the top ground attacks in the league.
What Dobbins Has Been Up To
He made a couple of posts to keep football fans informed about his whereabouts.
Just know I been working… I been quiet for a reason. I thrive best when I face adversity….go check my resume.

He opted to remain quiet to focus on his recovery.
There’s nothing wrong with his preference because he could concentrate better without distractions.
All Dobbins would like to happen is to take the field with the Ravens again.
I would post videos but I want all you fake a** doctors and people who have never spoken a word to me to see what me and Jesus been up to on the biggest stage.

Likewise, he would rather show his recovery on the field than during practices.
If he returns to his 2020 form, then there’s no doubt that he has recovered from the ACL injury.
