At 33 years old, Arizona Cardinals defensive end J.J. Watt keeps himself in shape.
He is still putting in the work by training at the gym before undergoing another NFL season.
The three-time Defensive Player of the Year is also making up for lost time after playing just seven games in 2021 due to a season-ending shoulder injury.
But the latest photo he shared indicates that he is ready for the grind.
However, he is showing what he’s been working on with a side joke

If Watt considers his chiseled physique as a dad bod, then what do we call those who are struggling to tone their body?
He doesn’t look like an NFL player who has been in the league for over a decade.
His dedication to the game keeps him motivated even if he has nothing left to prove.
The Cardinals would love to have Watt for the entire season this time around.
It would be difficult for them to create pressure from the defensive line without him, especially with Chandler Jones joining the Las Vegas Raiders.
Watt Would Like To Contribute More To Cardinals
He was having a solid season for the Cardinals after spending ten seasons with the Houston Texans.
Unfortunately, the physical nature of the game took a toll on him.
Still, the Cardinals were able to make the playoffs thanks to their high-powered offense.
Unfortunately, the eventual Super Bowl LVI champions dominated them, 34-11.
That’s a game that the Cardinals would rather forget.
For that reason, he would like to take one back against their NFC West rivals.
