NFL fans and players had plenty to say about Tom Brady announcing his retirement.
While the seven-time Super Bowl champion quarterback is leaving the field, NFL players are welcoming him to his new life of retirement.
One of those players is J.J. Watt, who also retired this year.
Watt had a great message for Brady, which both honors his legacy and reveals his future after football.
Greatest of All Time.
No question, no debate.
It’s been an honor and a privilege.

The tweet from the former NFL defensive end shows how he feels there’s “no debate” to how great Brady was in the NFL.
His tweet is accurate, as the legendary quarterback holds nearly every record a quarterback can have in the NFL.
No other quarterback has more passing yards or touchdowns in the regular season or playoffs than Brady.
He also has more Super Bowl rings and Super Bowl MVP titles than any other player in NFL history.
While young quarterbacks like Joe Burrow, Tua Tagovailoa, and Patrick Mahomes have some quarterback records, it’s Brady who holds the career records.
So Watt’s tweet correctly recognizes him for these accomplishments, which makes Brady the G.O.A.T.
However, the former NFL defensive end also added where the retired players meet.
With the legendary quarterback being newly retired, Watt tells him to “bring your wallet” to pay for the drinks.
While it’s likely a joke, it shows how the two can have a lighthearted moment after storied NFL careers.
With both players being a force in the NFL, they now head into retirement together after years in the NFL.
