Isaiah Thomas Bringing New Life To The Hornets

The Charlotte Hornets weren’t sure what they would get when they brought former All-Star Isaiah Thomas onto the team a few weeks ago.

But it’s now becoming clear that Thomas is giving the team a huge boost and is helping them once again have real potential as the postseason quickly approaches.

As pointed out by Statmuse, the team is 6-1 with Thomas on their side.

Not surprisingly, the Hornets have decided to double-down on Thomas and have now signed him for the rest of the season.

The Buzz With IT

Thomas has just concluded a 10-day contract with the Hornets and, during that time, he’s done some great work.

Over the last five games, Thomas has averaged 10.8 points and 1.8 assists a game.

While that’s a far cry from the number of points he made in his prime or during his time in the G League, it’s still a huge help for Charlotte, who were struggling before Thomas came on board.

The team has been on the verge of greatness for a couple of seasons now, especially with the young phenom LaMelo Ball leading the way.

They’re still a few years away from making the Finals but they could definitely make some noise in the playoffs.

The team obviously sees Thomas as part of their immediate future.

Leadership is a very important aspect of what he brings to the team.

He has played for a number of teams, including the Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks, Boston Celtics, Washington Wizards, and more.

He’s always been a hard-working, determined, relentless player who seems to never lose an ounce of fight in him.

That’s something the Hornets will need moving forward.
