With NFL free agency set to begin and the NFL Draft around the corner, teams in each division are looking to improve how they finished last season.

The AFC West is looking to take their division to the next level for 2022.

Things have been hot and heavy for two of the teams in the AFC West.

The Los Angeles Chargers and Denver Broncos made early trades to improve their teams.

So in a division that the Kansas City Chiefs have dominated, is the AFC West set to be the best in football for 2022?

Broncos Make A Massive Move By Trading for Veteran Quarterback Russell Wilson

The Broncos have made another big-time move at the quarterback position with their trade for Russell Wilson.

Blockbuster: After weeks of negotiations, in one of the largest trades in NFL history, the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos have agreed to terms for a deal involving Super-Bowl winning QB Russell Wilson, sources tell ESPN.

The former Super Bowl MVP will be a massive part of a Broncos team that has missed the playoffs for six years.

The move for Wilson brings back the memory of the free-agent signing of Peyton Manning in 2012.

Manning would post some of his best numbers at quarterback with the Broncos.

He would also take the Broncos to two Super Bowls, winning one.

The Broncos expect Wilson to do the same things Manning did when he came to the team.

Russell Wilson can absolutely go win a Super Bowl in Denver.

Manning won a SB after leaving Indy.
Brady won a SB after leaving Patriots.
Stafford won a SB after leaving Lions.

Wilson and the Broncos have a history as well.

He was the one to beat Manning and the Broncos in the Super Bowl, giving Wilson his first Super Bowl ring.

Chiefs Have Patrick Mahomes, A Former Super Bowl Champion

Patrick Mahomes has some of the best receivers in the game in Kansas City.

He is also a highlight reel with his no-look completed passes.

Though Mahomes looked off in 2021, he will come back better in 2022.

Mahomes looks off. Like OFF OFF.

Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce will continue to play a role in the success of Mahomes and the Chiefs.

These three players never fail to excite fans of the NFL.

Chargers Upgraded Their Defense With A Trade For Khalil Mack

The Chargers needed help on defense, and now they have that help.

Khalil Mack is an upgrade to a defense that ranked 30th in points allowed.

They also have Joey Bosa, who has been an anchor for the Chargers defense in the past.

The dynamic duo of Bosa and Mack will streak fear into the opposing teams’ quarterback.

Justin Herbert will also be under center for his third season.

Herbert was impressive with his 5,014 passing yards and 38 touchdowns last season.

Don’t Bet Against The Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders shocked the NFL world with their Sunday Night Football win in overtime to close out the NFL regular season.

The win would put the Raiders in the playoffs for the first time in five years.

Derek Carr and Josh Jacobs are set to return to help the Raiders in 2022.

The Raiders will also be looking to free agency to help improve their defense.

The Raiders might not have the flash of Vegas with their team, but they found ways to win games.

They are tough, and some teams overlooked that last season.

The stars on all the AFC West teams put them in a position to be the best division in the NFL for 2022.
