The Green Bay Packers are off to one of their worst starts since quarterback Aaron Rodgers become starting quarterback.
Their 4-7 record puts them behind the Washington Commanders and San Francisco 49ers for the last Wild Card spot.
With everything going wrong in Green Bay, fans are looking for someone to blame.
The one name that comes up the most is that of the team’s MVP quarterback.
However, is he responsible for the 4-7 record the Packers currently have this season?
Some Blame Falls On The Shoulders Of The MVP Quarterback
While it’s hard for him to admit it, some of the blame falls directly on Rodgers this season.
With him wanting to hold others “accountable,” he’s forgetting to hold himself accountable for his mistakes.
#Packers Aaron Rodgers talks accountability for the entire team.
Added: "I'm not a robot up here, so I think people in this society have a hard time hearing the truth sometimes. I'm going to hold guys accountable, Matt's gonna hold guys accountable…" (cont) pic.twitter.com/mwEczYWn5Y

His multiple interception game against the lowly Detroit Lions shows how his mistakes are hurting the Packers.
With him failing to give credit to the Lions defense for stopping him in that game, he shows no responsibility for his mistakes.
It’s an ongoing issue with him, and reason enough to blame him for the downfall of the Packers.
However, not everything falls on him.
Rookie Mistakes And Injuries Also Hurting The Packers This Season
Mistakes on offense by rookie receivers Allen Lazard and Christian Watson aren’t helping the Packers.
Injuries to key players also have hurt the Packers, as fewer playmakers are on the field.
While Watson is showing some improvements, it’s coming too late in the season.
With mistakes by everyone, Rodgers isn’t the only one to blame for the Packers’ 4-7 record.
However, he shoulders the bulk of the blame for his actions on and off the field.
