Even though the NFL preseason is getting into full swing, there are still a few very viable free agents available on the market.
Four-time Pro Bowl running back Dalvin Cook is still out there waiting to select a team, and Kareem Hunt, another talented running back, is also available.
Hunt has taken his time in choosing his next team, and he has already visited with the Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints, while he was expected to meet with the Minnesota Vikings on Friday.
Ian Rapoport appeared on “The Pat McAfee Show” and said that Hunt hasn’t signed with a team yet because he is likely holding out for a bigger contract.

Hunt was a third-round draft choice in 2017, and as a rookie with the Kansas City Chiefs he took the NFL by storm by leading it with 1,327 rushing yards.
But he quickly fell back to Earth, and the Chiefs released him during the 2018 season after he was seen in a video physically assaulting a woman.
Hunt has spent the last four seasons with the Cleveland Browns, and there he teamed up with Nick Chubb to form perhaps the league’s best one-two punch at running back.
Last season, he posted a career-low 3.8 yards per carry, but at age 28, he should still have something left in the tank, especially since he has had 200 carries in a season just once.
The running back market across the NFL has cratered, but there is still a need for depth at the position, and that need should ensure that Hunt will have a job somewhere this season.
