Aaron Rodgers is officially out for the season.
In the aftermath of his injury, many New York Jets fans have wondered what is next for this franchise.
Ian Rapoport outlined some next steps in a recent segment of “Good Morning Football.”
Per Rapoport, “Make no mistake, the Jets are going to be looking at some quarterbacks.”

However, Rapoport did indicate that this is still “Zach Wilson’s team” until further notice.
Despite his high draft capital, Wilson was a highly-debated QB prospect.
His college tape left something to be desired, and his first two years in the league haven’t yielded the results the Jets have expected.
Rapoport did point out that Wilson had a winning record last season in the games that he started.
While he might not be perfect, or anywhere close to Rodgers, he is a known commodity within the organization.
The Jets know what they have with Wilson, who has spent the past several weeks in a QB room with Rodgers.
With any luck, the wisdom from Rodgers has transferred to Wilson who can turn that into solid production for the Jets.
For a team that has missed the playoffs for more than 10 straight years, losing a quarterback of Rodgers’ caliber is a menacing blow.
Robert Saleh is still confident in his roster, believing they have the players in place to put forth a meaningful season.
Whether Wilson can mitigate mistakes throughout the year remains to be seen, and a watchful eye is now over the Jets’ organization.
