The NFL season is ready to kick off and this is one of the most highly anticipated seasons ever.
That is because of all the elite players that changed teams in the offseason.
All of the moves are setting up for a highly contested league that will be full of surprises.
The AFC has gotten much stronger thanks to a couple of quarterback trades.
Some of the best players in the league have even left the only team they have ever played for.
Here are the most impactful old faces in new places for the upcoming NFL season.
Russell Wilson, Quarterback, Denver Broncos
There were whispers throughout the offseason that Russell Wilson might be on the move.
But, it was hard to imagine him playing anywhere that was not Seattle.
Then the Denver Broncos came calling.
For a large package including multiple players and picks, Wilson was traded to Denver.
Now he starts his journey in Denver in the toughest division in football.
Wilson is still an elite quarterback and should immediately vault the Broncos back into playoff contention.

He will even get the chance to face his former team in Week 1.
The Broncos will head to Seattle to start the year on Monday Night Football.
Davante Adams, Wide Receiver, Las Vegas Raiders
Another player that will be heading to the AFC West is former Green Bay Packer Davante Adams.
Adams was looking for a new contract in the offseason and Green Bay decided not to pay him.
So they sent him to the Las Vegas Raiders for a package of premium draft picks.
For the first time in his career, Adams will start a season without Aaron Rodgers under center.
But, he does get his college teammate Derek Carr, who he has seemingly built good chemistry with.
This Raiders team is loaded with weapons and Adams should be in for another monster season in Las Vegas.
Tyreek Hill, Wide Receiver, Miami Dolphins
The other blockbuster wide-receiver trade was Tyreek Hill going from the Kansas City Chiefs to the Miami Dolphins.
Hill signed a massive contract with Miami and will now be playing with Tua Tagovailoa in 2022.
Hill is one of the fastest receivers in the NFL, so it will be interesting to see how he is utilized.
Tagovailoa has nowhere near the arm strength of Patrick Mahomes so running “go” routes may no longer be in the cards.
Even though they seem to be trying it out in the preseason.
Tyreek Hill played just 3 snaps in the preseason, but in his first, he caught a 51-yard deep ball from Tua Tagovailoa.

The 28-year-old is still one of the best playmakers in the league with the ball in his hands.
It will be interesting to see how the All-Pro receiver fares in his first season in Miami.
Von Miller, Defensive End, Buffalo Bills
The two-time Super Bowl champion is now starting his journey on the team favored to win the Super Bowl.
The Buffalo Bills gave Von Miller a huge contract in the offseason and now he must help them get back to the big game.
Buffalo lost in the Divisional Round last season because they could not stop the Chiefs offense.
Now with Miller in the fold, it will be his job to get that key sack in a big game.
The future Hall-of-Famer has 115.5 sacks in 11 seasons and even recorded 9.5 last year on two teams.
Miller still has some juice left in the tank and he will get to show that in Week 1 when the Bills take on the team he just won the Super Bowl with, the Los Angeles Rams.
