An Interesting QB Battle
Allen and Roethlisberger are on opposite spectrums of their NFL careers.
Allen is ascending while many wondered if 2020 would be Roethlisberger’s final season.
The Steelers of 2020 jumped out to an impressive 11-0 record only to watch it fall apart in the tail end of the season and in an extremely lopsided Wild Card playoff loss to the Cleveland Browns.
Allen’s Bills finished 13-3 and had an impressive playoff run.
They beat the Indianapolis Colts and Baltimore Ravens in the first two rounds before falling to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship.
Some believe that Allen could be the 2021 MVP and the Bills have a serious chance at making it to the Super Bowl this season.
To do so, the Bills need to start the season strong by beating the stalwarts of the AFC, the Steelers.
A player to watch for the Steelers is rookie running back Najee Harris out of Alabama whom the Steelers took in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
Harris will provide Roethlisberger with critical backfield support as James Conner departed the Steelers after 2020 and joined the Arizona Cardinals.
