It will be a preseason battle of young quarterbacks.
Tua Tagovailoa‘s Miami Dolphins travel to Chicago to take on the Bears in both NFL teams’ first preseason game of the 2021 season.
Bears coach Matt Nagy said that rookie quarterback Justin Fields will play in the preseason game.
Fields is expected to play a lot in this Miami game.
He is having a spectacular training camp thus far and performed very well in joint practices with the Dolphins.
Before the Bears drafted Fields, Andy Dalton was named the starting quarterback for the Bears.
Bears coach Matt Nagy says very few snaps for Andy Dalton, then Justin Fields is scheduled to take it from there and go possibly all the way into the fourth quarter.

Justin Fields absolutely masterful in a six-play low red zone period. Three TD passes and an astute tuck-and-run TD.

The Dolphins had a peculiar tag-team of quarterbacks in 2020.
Tagovailoa and Ryan Fitzpatrick shared the role.
Fitzpatrick is now a member of the Washington Football Team so this is the time for second year Tagovailoa to grow into the role.
Backing up Tagovailoa is Jacoby Brissett who joins Miami in 2021 after spending the past few seasons in Indianapolis backing up legendary quarterbacks Andrew Luck and Philip Rivers.
