The Tampa Bay Buccaneers go west to take on the Los Angeles Rams in this Week 3 NFL game between undefeated teams.
In addition to both teams being 2-0, they also have something else in common.
Each has a starting quarterback who made a team change after spending a large chunk of time with the team that drafted them.
We know how it turned out for Tom Brady after he left New England to join the Bucs.
The story is still being written for Matthew Stafford who just arrived in Los Angeles and joined the Rams after being a Detroit Lion for his entire career.
The Rams gave up a lot of draft picks in the trade to get Stafford so they are betting that he will lead them to the Super Bowl.
Let’s not forget Brady’s Patriots beat the Rams in the Super Bowl so one of those rings came at the Rams’ expense.

The Rams’ offensive success is largely attributed to the connection between Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp.
Kupp caught three of Stafford’s five touchdown passes through two games.
He has proven to be steady for Stafford, catching 16 out of 21 targeted passes for 271 yards.
Regarding Kupp’s early successes in 2021, Stafford said:
“He’s a really talented player, he understands the game really well, I think it’s probably just more a testament to him, than anything. I think he’s one of those guys that’s about as overlooked as anybody in the league… He’s a really talented player and I’m just happy I get to work with him.”
Rams Coach Sean McVay commented on their chemistry together.
“I think they just got a good rapport with one another. They spent a lot of time together, and I think he’s got a good rapport with a lot of players. Cooper has maximized his chances these last couple weeks, he’s come through in a big way.”
Now the goal is to keep this success going against a tough Tampa defense.
