The Cincinnati Bengals travel to Chicago to take on the Bears in Week 2 of the NFL 2021 season.
The Bengals are coming off a Week 1 win over the Minnesota Vikings where they capitalized on sloppy play by the Vikings to score the win.
On the flip side, the Bears traveled to Los Angeles and were handed the first loss from that team with Matt Stafford as quarterback.
The Bears certainly want to get on the winning side in this 2021 season; whereas, the Bengals are looking to build momentum as the often overlooked team in the AFC North.

Battle Of Andy Dalton’s Past And Present
Andy Dalton is the starting quarterback in Chicago.
He will battle the Bengals, whom he played for all but one year of his NFL career.
Dalton, 33, was a Bengal from 2011 to 2019.
He spent last season with the Dallas Cowboys so he never crossed paths with the Bengals starting quarterback, No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, Joe Burrow.
Burrow looked to be in great form in Week 1 in his return after suffering an ACL and MCL injury last November that curtailed his rookie season.
What About Justin Fields?
The parting line from Bears coach Matt Nagy is that Dalton is the starting quarterback.
No one knows how long that lasts if the Bears continue to drop games.
Rookie Justin Fields looked great in the preseason, and fans are anxious to see him out on the field this season.
Matt Nagy: “Trust me everyone will know when it’s time for Justin Fields to start.”
Everyone: “START JUSTIN FIELDS.”

Nagy has also floated the unpopular theory among fans that Fields will be utilized in a manner similar to New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill.

The Bears offense needs to be competitive, or Nagy and Dalton could both be out of jobs before the season enters the halfway mark.
