The Dallas Mavericks have found one of the greatest talents on Earth.
Luka Doncic is a generational player already and one that’s expected to lead the way for a very, very long time.
But as great as Doncic has been since entering the league, the Mavs also need to find ways to win without him.
In fact, they have yet to win a game without him this season and are 22-28 all-time when the former Real Madrid star isn’t on the floor.

Luka is currently leading the league in points per game and averaging nearly a triple-double.
But when asked about the MVP race, Doncic couldn’t be bothered at all.
As a matter of fact, he’s not even that much of an NBA fan:
“Not really. I watch some NBA games, but I watch more Euroleague than NBA,” the Slovenian said. “But if it is a really good NBA game on TV, I will watch it.”
Doncic is one of the league’s finest entertainers, and he keeps getting better every year.
Nonetheless, he cannot win on his own.
No one, not even Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, or LeBron James, could.
So, it’ll be up to Mark Cuban to get him the help he needs to finally thrive in the postseason.
Otherwise, the Mavs risk losing a guy with the potential to be one of the greatest players to ever do it, as Doncic is a relentless competitor, and he won’t be happy with another early postseason exit this season.
