Everything is bigger in Texas, and, if Week 13 in the NFL is any indication, that includes the beatdown of the Houston Texans.
At the end of the game, the Indianapolis Colts were the only ones on the board in an embarrassing 31-0 loss for the Texans.
Both teams are in the AFC South division, and the Colts have a substantially better record this year (7-6) compared to the Texans (2-10).
So what happened?
Let’s take a look at the numbers with three horrible Texans stats from their Week 13 beatdown.
Passing: 11 Of 27 Passes Completed
Both quarterbacks for the Texans failed when it came to their passing game.
Between Tyrod Taylor and Davis Mills, the duo only completed 11 of 27 passes.
Taylor didn’t play well and was finally replaced by Mills in the third quarter after an injury.
Mills achieved 49 yards on 6/14 passing.
Colts quarterback Carson Wentz, on the other hand, managed to end the game completing 16 of 22 passes.
These passes gave the Colts 158 yards.
Running: Eight Carries For 30 Yards
Running back Rex Burkhead got a measly 30 yards the entire game on his eight carries.
As someone who once played in the Super Bowl, many people expect more out of him.
He only has 126 rushing yards so far for the season.
After this game, the Texans will be 32nd in offense, 32nd in rushing and 32nd in passing. That's quite an accomplishment. Do you realize how difficult that is to do?

Of course, there are worse running backs in the NFL this season.
Colts running back Jonathan Taylor had 32 carries for 143 yards in the Week 13 game alone.
He was projected to be the best running back in Week 13, and he certainly came through for anyone who had him in their fantasy lineup.
Defensive Line: Zero Sacks
The defensive line struggled to connect during Week 13 getting zero sacks the entire game.
Despite not getting any sacks, there is some hope there.
The defensive line ended with 10 pressures and nine hurries with edge defender Jacob Martin leading the way with three hurries.
The Texans defense may want to learn from the Colts defensive ends Al-Quadin Muhammad and Kemoko Turay.
Muhammad had three tackles, two tackles for loss, and two sacks.
Turay had two tackles, two tackles for loss, and two sacks.
