The Los Angeles Lakers might be the worst team in the NBA.
Starting the season 0-4, no one has looked worse than the Lakers to start the year.
After missing the playoffs last season, the Lakers did not do much to improve their roster this year.
The last time the team started 0-4, the rest of the season did not go well.
The last time the Lakers started a season 0-4 was during the 2015-16 season, Kobe's final season. He was also 37 (same age as LeBron) during that tenure.
They ended up with a 17-65 record.
This team can't be as bad as that one…can it?

Massive Issues To Fix
Two issues with this team are that this roster is old and full of players that cannot shoot the ball.
It appears they will once again rely on a 37-year-old LeBron James to carry them.
But, with his age and recent injuries, it is unlikely James will be able to play a full season.
It would be nice if Anthony Davis wanted to take the reins as the next great Laker.
But, his constant injuries and inconsistent play make him a role player at this point.
Also, the Lakers must move Russell Westbrook.
The former MVP does not fit with this LA roster and a trade should happen sooner than later.
The Western Conference is not getting any weaker.
You could say there are 6-8 teams that could all make the Western Conference Finals this year.
The only chance the Lakers have to turn this season around is if they acquire some shooting.
One name being thrown around is Buddy Hield, who would fit well with them.
Any team with LeBron James will not tank.
But, if LA does not make some changes soon, they might be so bad that they will not have a choice.
